Awesome software!

A few questions...

1) Is there any way to use this viewer with stereo views? I see the reference to 3d glasses in the menu which shows when I right click the mouse on the image. I have numerous left and right stereo pan pairs and would like to explore this.

2) can you direct me to a tutorial for creating the object movies?

3) Can you direct me to a tutorial for using sound in the panoramas?

4) Is the Deval Studio package something that can be used for fun without a license? Where can I get a key and the latest version?

Thanks and I love this viewer!

Paul

Hi pladd,

>>1) Is there any way to use this viewer with stereo views? I see the reference to 3d glasses in the menu which shows when I right click the mouse on the image. I have numerous left and right stereo pan pairs and would like to explore this.

This feature is in my to do list. At present it is not possible.
There is a feature that can be used to communicate two viewers, but this feature is under developing, and it is slow for stereo views. You can see an example here: http://www.devalvr.com/paginas/producto ... oidal.html
In this example the parameters "PluginName" and "PluginCamera" defines the communication between the two viewers. You can set PluginName="view1" PluginCamera="view2" in the first viewer and PluginName="view2" PluginCamera="view1" in the second viewer to make this communication (see the code in above page).
In future versions I will make a new parameter to split the plugin window in a number of separated views to make this feature.

>>2) can you direct me to a tutorial for creating the object movies?

I don't know. Is possible that you find some tutorial in http://www.panotools.info/mediawiki or http://www.pano2qtvr.com

>>3) Can you direct me to a tutorial for using sound in the panoramas?

I'm working to add ambient and directional sound in panoramas, but this feature is not finished yet.

>>4) Is the Deval Studio package something that can be used for fun without a license? Where can I get a key and the latest version?

The Deval Studio project is stopped now. I'm working since some months ago to make more features for DevalVR viewer and improve it

I hope to finish a lot of features in this month (January)

Thank you pladd

regards

The two windows with a common mouse control looks really interesting. This will allow use of left and right pans in full color with parallel viewing. I'm going to play with the page code and reduce the size of the pans to see if it can work. Will keep you posted.

Looking forward to the upgrades. Wonderful software!
